OUR SECOND ALS FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP CHRISTMAS TOUR FUNDRAISER

We want to thank Cathie Hiltbrand for again supporting us by opening her beautiful “Historic” home. Over a dozen volunteers spent days decorating. Once again, a lot of work, but a lot of fun.

Thank you to everyone who donated items for our raffle. Special thanks to all of the individuals and businesses who provided decorations. Also, thank you to the many people made the delicious candy and cookies for our bake sale.

Christmas Party

Cathie Hiltbrand continued in her generosity by inviting us to have our annual Christmas Party in her home.

Everyone joined in when vocalist Jerome James entertained us with seasonal songs.

The ALS Family Support Group of Ohio, Inc., recognized Debra Shonk of Dover as the first “Volunteer Of The Year.”

Debra has participated in every event during 2006. She has been extremely helpful behind the scenes in running errands, assisting in set up and tear down, in addition to working at the events themselves. She has served on the board of directors as secretary. Her positive attitude and upbeat demeanor has endeared her to the entire organization.

Debra is owner/operator of Our Little Angels day care.
