Our inspiration is driven by a gentleman whose goal is to never
accept defeat. The poster personality of the ALS Family Support of
Ohio, Inc. is Mr. Jim Graef.
Jim was diagnosed with ALS on February 13,1995. He has graciously
agreed to become a spokesperson for the group. Jim is a single
father of three teenage daughters. He is an inspiration to everyone
he meets. He says, "you learn to appreciate every day that you're
able to do something." When asked how he remains so upbeat Jim says,
"I have to. I never look at defeat."
Jim is Commissioner of the Dover Girls Softball League
and also serves as a member of our Board of Directors. |
